Last Saturday we were competing in the Woodpecker Rally, the latest round of the 2023 British Historic rally Championship. The event was based in Ludlow and used some forests in Wales that had not been used for many years.
After surviving an early engine malfunction that the service crew and Sherwood Engines rapidly fixed, the Harris & Co Escort survived the extremely challenging blistering heat and dust to take second in class. The result kept us in second in class in the overall Championship.
