Sunday 21st February saw a very wet and windy Red Kite stages start from Llandovery.

Phil said "Before we started the event we'd seen the safety DVD and the forests looked a bit muddy in places after some logging activity."

"What we hadn't bargained for was the extremely wet winter had soaked the ground so much that the tracks were covered in liquid mud."

"There was minimal grip and on a couple of start lines, we struggled to get off the line, it was that slippery!"

"The treacherous conditions made for a few hairy high speed moments!"

Despite the tricky conditions, the Harris & Co motorsport accountants Mini Cooper came home 1st in class and 3rd in Category 1 (which is for pre 1968 cars), both amazing results!

The incredible Mini has now had an astonishing seven straight class wins!

"The car is just phenominal," said Phil. "I can't wait for the next round, the Rally North Wales on 1 April."
