Working from home has recently been all the rage and proponents tell us that it boosts productivity. There has not been much research into the subject but a recent report by the Federal Reserve Bank of San Fransisco has produced some startling results.
The extensive report looked across 43 industries in the private sector to see if more remote-friendly working saw increased productivity.
The report found that remote working no meaningful effect on productivity.
